Let’s change the way we park and charge electric scooters!
Developers from the VSB – Technical University of Ostrava in cooperation with ELVAC have come up with a solution that has the potential to radically change the way we approach parking and charging electric scooters. Their smelvee project is an innovative storage facility with a charging station for foldable electric scooters, thus solving the problem of uncontrolled parking of scooters in urban spaces.
This project arose from the need to ensure that scooters do not block pavements and other public spaces, while providing an easily accessible solution for charging them. With smelvee.HUB, electric scooters can be safely stored and charged in one point, increasing their accessibility to the general public while protecting urban space from clutter.
